Dead by Daylight releases update with fixes for perks



Behavior Interactive has released a new update for Dead by Daylight, which brings a series of bug fixes in areas such as environments and perks, as well as implementing balance changes for The Lich.

– On the Forgotten Ruins map, at least 4 hooks will always be available in the dungeon section of the map.
– On the Forgotten Ruins map, Passage locations have been adjusted to prevent them from being directly next to chests and pallets.
– Passage interaction time has been extended by 0.15 seconds for Survivors and reduced by 0.25 seconds for Killers.


The Lich

– Increased Mage Hand pallet lifting time from 0.35 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
– Increased the spawn volume of skeletons in Flight of the Damned to improve Survivor perception.
– Telekinesis Ring Addon: Activating Mage Hand on a raised pallet increases overall vault speed by 10% for the next 8 seconds.
– Vorpal Sword Addon: Increasing the time to break pallets from 2.2 seconds to 3.2 seconds.

Bug Fixes


– Fixed an issue that caused some visual effects to appear late when a distant player approached the location where they appeared.
– Canceling an interaction with the Invitation Pillar no longer causes the golden glow to remain and no longer prevents the scroll on top of the Pillar from reappearing.
– Dancing Puppets no longer cross the ceilings of the Underground Complex.
– Survivors’ pools of blood no longer disappear quickly after the effect of the “Silent Mode” skill ends.


– Fixed an issue where progress could not be made in some iterations of the Bronze Age challenge.
– Fixed an issue where several recent Tomes used the same cover color in the Archives Compendium screen.


– Fixed an issue where the Lich’s hand teleports away from the survivor for one frame at the end of the assimilation animation.
– Fixed an issue where the Lich could be seen entering the Passage during the selection animation.
– Fixed an issue that caused some Assassins’ motion visual effects to fail to reproduce.
– The Lich’s spell indicator no longer becomes distorted when players change field of view in first person while in full screen on an ultrawide monitor.
– Vecna’s Hand Locker smoke effect no longer appears before locker doors open when Survivors quickly exit a target locker after teleporting.
– Survivors no longer obtain items from the Lich’s chest when in the dying state.
– It is no longer possible for a Survivor to teleport to the locked room in the Temple of Purge with the Hand of Vecna.
– Vecna’s assimilated hand no longer shakes and is no longer out of sync with the Survivors’ arm when moving.
– The Lich chest animation can no longer be skipped if the Survivor presses the interact button while the animation is playing.
– Fixed an issue where Blight may not enter the fatigued state after destroying a wall or pallet with a quick attack.


– Fixed an issue in the Garden of Joy where a Survivor could climb onto the rock at the edge of the map.
– Fixed an issue in the Temple of Purge where map content could block only Assassins from colliding.
– Fixed an issue in Lery Hospital where the Killer could not catch a Survivor who was crawling against a blocker.
– Fixed an issue in the Forgotten Ruins where a placeholder tile would appear in the environment.
– Fixed an issue in Borgo Decimado where a blocker was preventing the Assassin from passing.
– Fixed an issue in Lery Hospital where a Survivor on the hook prevented the Killer from navigating.
– Fixed an issue in Toba Landing where Survivors could run into the stair railing.
– Survivors who enter a Passage at the same time no longer get stuck.
– Entering a Passage is no longer canceled when Victor Jumps on a Survivor who is entering a Passage.
– Survivors no longer get stuck in a Killer’s collision when a Killer waits for Survivors at the exit of a Passage.
– The camera no longer gets stuck in the spectator’s view when the Matching Survivor uses the Walkway while the spectator was being executed.


– Illusions generated by the Mirror Illusion perk now disappear correctly when the Assassin passes through them.
– The Mirrored Illusion perk no longer charges when an illusion is already active.
– The vault bonus effect of the Dark Arrogance perk no longer incorrectly applies to other Assassin abilities.


– Medkits now completely deplete when healing up to 100% without addons.
– Fixed an issue that caused the Entity’s window lock effect to not lock a window that was just unlocked after 3 consecutive quick vaults.
– Survivors no longer get stuck in the hooked state when the killer is interrupted.
