Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 6: Release Date, First Image and Spoilers

Tanjiro arrives at the final stage of pillar training: release date and time, first image and spoilers, we tell you everything we know about episode 6 of season 4 of Demon Slayer.

Season 4 of Demon Slayer is still getting a little closer to its conclusion as it adapts the pillar training arc, the penultimate of the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge. The strength and endurance of the demon slayers are put to the test, the leaders of the Army imposing difficult tests on them to pass – and obligatory, unfortunately for Zen’itsu.

But it’s for a good cause, because our heroes must prepare for a final battle that will give no quarter. Indeed, Nezuko attracted Kibutsuji Muzan’s attention by surviving the sun’s rays. The demon will therefore mobilize his monsters to try to appropriate the ability of Tanjiro’s sister.

The latter therefore complied with great enthusiasm to the imposed tests of training the pillars, and finally reached the last stage: that of the pillar of the rock. Release date and time, first image and spoilers, we summarize everything you need to know about episode 6 of season 4 of Demon Slayer.

Season 4 Episode 6 Release Date and Time Demon Slayer

Episode 6 of season 4 of Demon Slayer will be released on June 16, 2024 on Crunchyroll at 5:45 p.m.

Spoilers for episode 6 of season 4 of Demon Slayer

Episode 6 will be dedicated to the muscle strengthening of Gyomei Himejima, the pillar of the rock, and will be titled “The strongest slayer“.

The anime’s official website, which features the above preview by Gyomei Himejima, summarizes the episode this way: “After overcoming Iguro and Sanemi’s training, Tanjiro heads, with Zenitsu, to Himejima’s training location located deep in the mountains. He barely has time to find Inosuke and Murata, already in the middle of training, when Himejima’s intense training begins.

Himejima’s training is simple, but difficult. The slayers are asked to undergo three exercises: firstly that of the waterfall and its icy waters, capable of making the most resistant turn their eyes – this is also why the candidates must recite mantras, which help determine which ones have fainted and need emergency care. You then have to carry logs, and finally push a rock over a defined distance.

It is Gen’ya who will give very useful advice to Tanjiro for the rock stage, explaining to him the benefit of repetition in training the rock pillar. The hero will thus be able to complete the training of the pillars, which will earn him the congratulations of Gyomei Himejima.

The latter will also say he recognizes the value of Tanjiro for the sacrifice he had made at the blacksmiths’ village, by favoring the lives of workers threatened by a demon rather than his sister, who was still vulnerable to the sun. But too honest to hide the truth, the protagonist will admit that the decision was made by Nezuko, who had pushed her brother away to avoid having to make a choice.

Episode 6 will be crucial: if the number of episodes for season 4 of Demon Slayer has not yet been revealed, it should nevertheless be noted that the pillar training arc is coming to an end, despite the introduction of new scenes. The conclusion should therefore not take long for the anime, preparing for the final battle and its first part on the Infinite Dimensional Fortress, already teased in previous episodes.
