Published

on

XDefiant offers a wide variety of game modes. But as a first-person shooter, many wonder if Ubisoft’s title includes the iconic Team Deathmatch mode. Here’s everything you need to know.

Like other FPS games, XDefiant offers a ton of game modes for players to immerse themselves in. While some players enjoy objective-based modes, not all are looking to complete in-game missions.

This is where Team Deathmatch stands out from the rest. By retaining the team aspect, this mode allows players to focus on a single objective, eliminating opposing players.

But, does XDefiant offer Team Deathmatch? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is Team Deathmatch coming to XDefiant?

The developers of XDefiant announced that the Team Deathmatch will be added on June 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.. This information was confirmed in a post on X/Twitter from the developers on June 18, 2024.

XDefiant: Team Deathmatch mode explained

XDefiant Team Deathmatch is a game mode in which two teams compete to achieve the highest number of kills and reach the final thresholdusually set to 75 or 100. We will update this section once the XDefiant developers announce the threshold for this mode.

This mode does not imply any objective to be captured or escorted. It only focuses on eliminating opponents and achieving kill streaks.

By offering a dedicated MME mode, players can fully dedicate themselves to direct combat without compromising the experience of other game modes. Indeed, some players complained that in objective-based modes, others ignored the tasks to complete in-game and played as if it were a Team Deathmatch.

And that’s everything you need to know about Team Deathmatch in XDefiant. Make sure you have the best controller and audio settings to easily detect enemies on any map and score the most kills when this mode becomes available.
