In a statement to creditors, the conglomerate’s management confirmed that the payment was possible thanks to the sales of Saber Interactive and Gearbox. The deadline for fulfilling the repayment was estimated to be due in May 2025.

In May this year, a report from Embracer Group revealed that its total debts reached US$1.5 billion. However, with the almost US$700 million raised from the sale of studios, this value reduced significantly.
