Helldivers 2 has a patch with critical balances; see changes

Democracy reigned again in Helldivers 2. After the community found the latest changes to equipment unfair, Arrowhead balanced the weapons and tried to make certain tools stronger.

This obviously also involves field strategies and other useful mechanics for eliminating the automatons and insectoids. Check out all the changes from Helldivers 2 patch 01,000,400 below:

Helldivers 2 weapon balances

A/MLS-4X Sentinel Rocket

  • Reduced dispersion
  • Priority for larger targets
  • Distance to target increased from 75m to 100m
  • Reduced rockets per burst from 2 to 1 (to improve ammo economy)
  • Explosion radius increased from 1m to 4m
  • Blast armor piercing reduced (Explosions can no longer damage heavily armored enemies. The projectile still has enough AP to damage heavily armored targets.)
  • Projectile damage increased from 200 to 300

A/MG-43 Sentinel Machine Gun

  • Cooldown reduced from 180s to 120s

A/MG-43 Sentry Gun, A/G-16 Gatling Sentry Gun, A/MLS-4X Sentry Rocket, A/AC-8 Sentry Autocannon, A/M-12 Sentry Mortar, A/M-23 OEM Sentry Mortar:

  • Durability* increased from 0% to 80%

MP Platform E/MG-101

  • Rotation speed increased by 100%

MD-6 Antipersonnel Minesweeper

  • Explosion damage increased from 250 to 350

MD-I4 Incendiary Mines

  • Explosion damage increased from 150 to 210

Gatling Orbital Barrage

  • Fire speed increased by 25%
  • Bullets per burst increased from 30 to 60
  • Increased Armor Piercing (can damage enemies with heavy armor)
  • Cooldown reduced from 80s to 70s

Precision Orbital Strike

  • Cooldown reduced from 100s to 90s
  • Spawn/call time reduced from 4s to 2s

Atmospheric Burst Orbital Attack

  • Cooldown reduced from 120s to 100s

110mm rocket pods via Eagle

  • Improved aiming
  • Projectile armor piercing increased (now deals 100% damage to enemies with heavy armor, up from 50%)
  • Projectile damage reduced from 600 to 250 (to compensate for improved aim and extra damage from increased armor piercing)
  • Blast armor piercing reduced (explosions can no longer damage heavily armored enemies)

Eagle strafing

  • Possible uses increased from 3 to 4
  • Armor piercing increased, now able to damage heavily armored enemies.

GL-21 grenade launcher

  • Explosion damage increased from 350 to 400

MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun

  • Projectile damage increased from 100 to 150
  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 23% to 33%
  • Fire speed reduced from 450/750/900 to 450/600/750
  • Cooldown reduced from 7s to 5.5s
  • Increased stun power

MG-43 machine gun

  • Cooldown reduced from 4s to 3.5s
  • Maximum number of magazines increased from 3 to 4

MG-43 Machine Gun, A/MG-43 Sentinel Machine Gun, A/G-16 Gatling Sentry Gun and EXO-45 Patriot Exouniformes Gatling Gun

  • Projectile damage increased from 80 to 90
  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 7.5% to 25%

AR-23 Liberador, M-105 Vigorosa and “Guard Dog” AX/AR-23

  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 10% to 23%

AR-23C Impact Releaser

  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 23% to 35%

RB-14 Referee

  • Magazine capacity increased from 25 to 30
  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 10% to 20%

AR-61 Wing Opener

  • Projectile damage increased from 60 to 95
  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 10% to 17%
  • Ammo capacity reduced from 35 to 30
  • Number of magazines reduced from 10 to 8
  • Increased stun power

PLAS-101 purifier

  • Projectile armor piercing increased to match that of the explosion
  • Loss of offensive potential from explosion reduced

CB-9 Explosive Crossbow

  • Blast armor piercing increased to match that of the projectile
  • Increased demolition strength (can destroy Bugs’ lairs and Robot makers’ buildings)
  • Medium drilling information included

R-36 Rompante

  • Total damage increased from 420 to 570 per shot

R-63 Diligence

  • Projectile damage against resistant body parts* increased from 10% to 25%
