The time has come for Capcom to unveil Dragon's Dogma 2, the long-awaited sequel to one of the most memorable RPGs of the last decade, whose release is imminent, scheduled for March 22. In a calendar already rich in new releases for this year, this title easily stands out as one of the most anticipated.

RPG aficionados are already captivated by the immensity of the Dragon's Dogma 2 map, raising serious questions about its nature: will the game be open world?

Then find out if Dragon's Dogma 2 is an open world game.

Will Dragon's Dogma 2 be open world?

Yes, Dragon's Dogma 2 is an open world game, located in the same region of Gransys, just like the previous episode. Although it is based in the same region, it takes place in a parallel world to the 2012 game.

At the Capcom Showcase, the developers revealed that the universe of Dragon's Dogma 2 is four times larger than that of its predecessor. Equipped with new Vocations and more sophisticated artificial intelligence, this future title promises an enriched experience compared to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (2012).

We can see several locations in the reveal trailer and in the presentation as well, ranging from lush green forests to densely populated realms like Vermound. Likewise, there is a whole desert and a dry kingdom like Battahl.

So now you know for sure that Dragon's Dogma 2 is an open world game.
