Jujutsu Kaisen Official Account Asks Fans to Stop Leaking News



The official account of Jujutsu Kaisen posted a message to fans on Twitter/X, asking them to stop leaking information before official announcements.

With social media gaining ever more power, leaking information has become the norm for the most important franchises in pop culture. And anime and manga are no exception to the rule, while leakers have specialized in stories from Japan.

It must be said that these leaks have an audience: many fans wait for spoilers for their favorite series every week. Either out of impatience, or because they consider that spoilers do not detract from the charm of the work during a complete rereading.

Unfortunately for readers who prefer to keep the surprise, social media can quickly turn into a minefield, especially when a chapter builds up the hype by promising intense revelations. But pirates do not have a monopoly on leaks: Jujutsu Kaisen also is affected by the phenomenon. And the official account of the work signed by Gege Akutami wanted to set the record straight.

The message from the official account for the Exhibition Jujutsu Kaisen

The request to stop disclosing information before announcements comes from the official Expo account Jujutsu Kaisen.

On X, the official account displays the name “Gege Akutami “Jujutsu Kaisen” Exhibition”. And as the name suggests, it was created to share information about the special exhibition that will take place this year. Announced during Jump Festa, it will be held at the Shibuya Hikarie shopping center in Tokyo during the summer of 2024.

The publication of March 6 states: “New information about the exhibition will be revealed in the 15th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which will be released on Monday, March 11. Take a look! Additionally, we request your cooperation to avoid disclosure of pre-release information illegally uploaded before the release date.

The 15th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will therefore talk about the exhibition, but should also feature special coverage of Jujutsu Kaisento celebrate the sixth anniversary of the manga.
