Look at the little lizard! New GEX Trilogy trailer is nostalgic

Announced in the middle of last year, GEX Trilogy still does not have a release date, despite being scheduled for this year. And Limited Run released a new trailer for the collection, with just over a minute of scenes from the adaptations of the classics.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics, the series of platform games starring the anthropomorphic gecko Gex comprises three releases: Gex from 1995, Gex: Enter the Gecko from 1998 and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko from 1999.

The games are being brought to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam using Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine, a development tool that helps create emulation-based ports of classic games for modern hardware.

In addition to Gex Trilogy, Limited Run Games works on other classics

PS1 classic, Tomba! also had its re-release announced for PS4 and PS5. The game will be revived by Limited Run Games and was featured in a teaser, where you can see the new logo. Click here to learn more.

Furthermore, the collection of classic Jurassic Park and the return of Clock Tower, the popular chase-based survival horror franchise, were announced during a company showcase. More details will still be revealed by the devs.
