WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have released a new trailer featuring actor John Cena discussing his role as DC antihero Peacemaker. The character is the latest addition to Mortal Kombat 1 and can now be purchased via the Kombat Pack.

Based on the character who originated in DC's “Suicide Squad” film and Max's “Peacemaker” series, John Cena lends his voice and image to the new playable character who brings a set of formidable moves to the game.

He incorporates the character's expert marksman skills, the unique powers of his helmet, and the help of his loyal companion and sidekick, the bald eagle Eagly from Mortal Kombat 1 — all complemented by his legendary dance moves and cheeky humor.

Peacemaker, also known as Christopher Smith, is ready to challenge Liu Kang's New Era of Peace and will face anyone who stands in his way. Watch the new trailer for the game below:

The anti-hero Peacemaker is now available in Mortal Kombat 1 as part of the early access package for Kombat Pack and Premium Edition owners, followed by broad availability on March 6.

The add-on includes the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage and one-week early access to six playable DLC characters: Omni-Man (available), Quan Chi (available), Peacemaker (available), Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi, and five Partnership Fighters DLC.
