PS Portal “revolutionizes” and increases engagement on PS5

Even without being a native portable console, the PS Portal is an engagement success for Sony. The company released new information about the device’s performance on the PS Blog, such as the most played games and even the increase in the use of Remote Play.

After the product was launched, more than 60% of players used Remote Play, an application available for PC and smartphones, for the first time. According to the company, the mission of elevating the consumer experience in this format is being fulfilled.

Just after the first eight weeks of launch, the average usage engagement on PS5 from PS Portal owners increased considerably. Additionally, the company managed to list the main games that have attracted attention on the portable device (from November 15, 2023 until February 2024):

  • PlayStation Studios’ single-player adventures, such as God of War Ragnarok and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, along with Astro’s Playroom, stood out;
  • Those who like multiplayer have spent a lot of time investing in options like Fortnite, Rocket League and EA Sports FC 24;
