Game Informer brought, this Thursday (8), very interesting news about Season 9 of Overwatch 2. According to the magazine, Blizzard worked a lot behind the scenes on details that are not those that attract the most attention, but they manage to help “revitalize” the gaming experience.
“Players across all modes will notice updates to the way the game, encounters, and matches as a whole play out. Hit consistency is being improved, with projectiles increasing in size; Characters who do not have weapons or projectile-based abilities and therefore do not benefit from this change will receive additional balance updates. These changes to non-projectile heroes will happen at a later date so the development team can evaluate how significant the projectile changes are in a live environment.”says GI.
Another relevant change is in the health of each character in Season 9 of Overwatch 2. Check it out:
“Additionally, all heroes will have more health starting in Season 9. Any hero with 150 to 175 HP will receive a 25 HP boost, while heroes with 200 to 300 HP will receive an additional 50 HP. Meanwhile, tanks with 300 HP or more will receive between 75 and 100 additional HP at the start of Season 9. Additionally, all heroes can now passively regenerate health after five seconds of not taking damage, while support heroes can now begin healing passively after two and a half seconds. To balance, if a character is taking damage, the amount they heal while being attacked is reduced by 20%.” confirms the magazine.
