Spider-Man 2 actor believes Peter will never have a normal life

The life of a hero is never easy, especially when you are the target of several powerful villains at the same time. In the case of Spider-Man, in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, his past always finds a way to return and threats seem to be constantly affecting his desire to have a normal life.

In a recent interview with Variety, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice of Peter Parker in the games, provided more information about the character's future. The actor gave his point of view on Spider's fate after the events of the second game and suggested that the Friendly Neighborhood will never be at peace.

At the end of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, after facing the threat of Venom and the symbiotes, Peter decides to “retire” his costume and leaves for a new life alongside Mary Jane. With this, he suggests that Miles Morales will become the sole guardian of New York.

However, Lowenthal doesn't believe Parker's journey will end there. According to him, the character will never have a “completely normal life” and will only find “a little break” along the way, while many villains study their revenge plans.

Recently, there have been some comments stating that Peter is out and Miles is in. While I would love to believe that Peter can just switch off from this and no longer be Spider-Man and live a completely normal life, I don't think that's what's going to happen now.

I don't know, I haven't read the script yet. They're probably working on it. But I don't think this is the last we'll see of Peter. It's a nice change for him, as he trusts Miles 100%. Miles really stood out and said, 'Oh, maybe I can take a little break.'

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is available for PS5.
