Sony's investment in a “more aggressive strategy” of bringing its games to computers seems increasingly justifiable. The number of players on PCs continues to grow. According to data from SteamDB, the number of simultaneous players on Steam broke a new record this Sunday (3), with more than 34.6 million people connected at the same time.

Since January, the platform has been recording important milestones. The previous record was 34.2 million – a statistic that was equaled last Saturday (2). The exact data for this new peak is 34,649,583 users.

Counter-Strike 2 remains very popular, securing an incredible 1.4 million simultaneous views in the last 24 hours. Dota 2, PUBG, Apex Legends and Helldivers 2 also proved popular, respectively registering 727,000, 638,000, 455,000 and 429,000 players at the same time. Naraka: Bladepoint, Palworld and Last Epoch have also registered more than 200,000 users.
