Surprise in the Wild West! Red Dead Redemption 2 has an update

Rockstar Games doesn't live solely on weekly updates for GTA Online and the development of GTA 6. Red Dead Redemption 2, which honestly seemed a little left out for some time, has just received a new update. The company announced the news and demonstrated that it is still supporting the title, six years after its launch.

The game, released in 2018, is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In recent numbers, the company announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 surpassed 61 million units sold globally. See more details here.

Red Dead Redemption 2 patch notes

The last major update for Red Dead Redemption 2 was version 1.31, which was released almost a year ago, so check out the main new features of the new patch now.

General Fixes for Red Dead Online:

– Fixed an issue that caused Naturalist samples to not count towards Daily Challenges.
– Fixed an issue in Dead of Night that allowed Night Stalkers to collect the Night Stalker Mask.
– Fixed an issue resulting in ambient vehicles not appearing in certain content.
– Fixed an issue that resulted in Free Missions not starting.
– Improved an issue that resulted in players getting stuck when entering the stables.
– Improved an issue that resulted in players being unable to call horses and carts.
– Voice chat is now turned off by default.

Game Stability and Performance:

– Fixed several issues that could result in crashes.
– Game Stability and Performance (PC):
– Fixed several issues that resulted in the game crashing or failing to launch.
– Fixed an issue resulting in Offline Mode not working due to Windows 11 updates.
– Fixed an issue resulting in crashes after reporting other players.
– Fixed issues resulting in Offline Mode not working correctly.
– Added support for HDR10+ GAMING, which will automatically adjust HDR game graphics to HDR10+ GAMING displays on compatible graphics cards and monitors connected via HDMI.
– Updated AMD Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) libraries to version 2.2.
– Fixed an issue resulting in 3200×2400 resolution being unavailable.
