System Shock remake will be released in May for consoles

After long months of waiting, the remake of System Shock has a date to arrive on consoles. The title will be available from May 21st and will feature a series of graphical, gameplay and content improvements.

After a six-month coma, the protagonist wakes up aboard Citadel Station, TriOptimum's main research facility. Soon, he discovers that he has become the target of mutant creatures spread across the station, with evil intentions of invading Earth and exterminating all organic life.

System Shock Remake will feature visual, mechanical and enemy artificial intelligence improvements. Furthermore, the weapons were completely redesigned by Nightdive Studios, alongside the scenarios and technical effects of lighting, shadows and reflections.

The System Shock remake will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

Official System Shock Remake art book arrives this week

In partnership with Dark Horse, Nightdive Studios announced the release of an official System Shock Remake art book. The hardcover work arrives on May 15th and will have dozens of pages with narrative information and drawings from previous stages of development. Click here to learn more.
