The Boys season 4: fans notice a hilarious detail in the Human Centipede scene from episode 2

The long-awaited season 4 of The Boys finally debuted this week, and fans noticed a hilarious detail in the tribute to The Human Centipede. Those in the know will know what we’re talking about here.

With three new episodes already available, Amazon’s now cult superhero series is off to a flying start, with even more gore and X-rated incidents for this series as violent as it is crazy.

In Episode 2 of Season 4, the Boys go to a conspiracy event at the Vought Garden Inn to hunt down the new Supe Sister Sage, and it’s safe to say that everything didn’t go as planned.

Before we continue, please be aware that we are entering spoiler territory and will be discussing some content that is graphic, to say the least. You have been warned.

Now that that’s said, let’s get to the heart of the matter. During the anti-Starlighter event, we meet Splinter, a Supe with the power to duplicate himself. In one scene, Frenchie and Kimiko will follow him, following him into the spa.

After hearing unusual noises coming from the sauna, they open the door, only to find six versions of Splinter licking each other, style. The Human Centipedewhile the first masturbates in front of a photo of Firecracker.

Since Splinter is also killed later in the episode, viewers find it hilarious to find Supernatural actor Rob Benedict in this manner in The Boys. In addition, Prime Video also joined in the joke by adding its little comment.

General anecdotes about Rob Benedict in episode 2 of season 4 of The Boys

Indeed, since the start of the Prime Video series, spectators can regularly discover all kinds of anecdotes linked to the series and the comics from which it is adapted. In this case, if you pause from 27 minutes and 38 seconds, the “General Trivia” section shows the following message: “Actor Rob Benedict asks us to remember that he studied Shakespeare at Northwestern University. We are not contractually bound to do so. It’s just a friendly gesture on our part.”

A nice touch on their part indeed, which was shared on Reddit, with the author of the publication writing this: “The Amazon X-Ray rating for this scene from Season 4, Episode 2 is hilarious.”

“Rob Benedict has fallen from grace,” joked another, while a third remarked, “Rob Benedict shows it all. There you go, I said it.”

On X/Twitter, a fan of The Boys said, “I was already dying of laughter because of that scene, but it finished me off.”

And it doesn’t stop there, as others have also noticed the conjunctivitis anecdote. If you’re this far in the story, that means you’ve seen the episode, which means you know that when the Boys confront the Splinters, Frenchie notices that he has pink eye from his activities in the sauna .

If you move your cursor around the screen or pause from 41 minutes, a new “General Trivia” section says this: “Many people believe that conjunctivitis is caused by fecal matter coming into contact with the eyes. Kids, wash your hands and stay clean! (And your parents should ban you from this series.)”

Above all, fans of The Boys salute Benedict for his…commitment to the role.
