The Veilguard has new gameplay details and more

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was the game chosen to appear on the cover of Game Informer, and as usual, the portal brought several new details about the RPG. Players can expect even greater depth involving the story of protagonist Rook and his surroundings.

Additionally, the elven gods Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain, seen at the end of the demo, are now free, while Solas remains trapped in the “Fade”.

The players’ base, the Lighthouse, is also located in the “Fade”. This location was Solas’ base of operations and now becomes the central point for players.

Bringing more dynamics to confrontations, players can configure different sets of weapons to swap during combat and pause combos with a dash, resuming them later.

Going this route, each class will have unique advantages and weaknesses. Warriors and Rogues can parry, with a larger time window for Rogues. Mages cannot use parry, but they can raise magical shields automatically, as long as they have mana available.
