Top 10 mangas to adapt into anime as soon as possible according to fans

AnimeJapan recently revealed the results of the 7th edition of the “Manga We Want to See Adapted into Anime” rankings. More than 100,000 fans voted in this poll and chose the 10 manga they wanted to see adapted into anime.

While anime seems to be becoming more and more popular over the years, it can be seen that it has become an integral part of contemporary popular culture. This can be seen with the immense success encountered by certain works, such as for example Jujutsu Kaisenbut also Demon Slayerwithout forgetting of course One Piece.

Anime which are often adaptations of manga, although other styles of comics are also starting to find a special place in the hearts of fans. This is particularly the case for Korean comics, more commonly called manhwa, which are increasingly popular with the public, as evidenced by the impressive start recently made by the animated adaptation of Solo Leveling.

And to find out what the next new releases will be that will hit the headlines in the future, fans were asked to choose which manga they would absolutely like to see adapted into anime.

These 10 manga fans want to see adapted into anime

Voting took place from February 1 to March 4, with fans choosing which manga they wanted to see adapted into an anime from the 50 nominations of the most popular titles. The authors of the first 10 winners all expressed their surprise and enthusiasm at the fans' enthusiasm for their works.

The title at the top of the list of manga that fans absolutely want to see adapted into anime is Shinanonchi no Ikuru by Hami Nakasora. Published by Kadokawa, this nostalgia and slice-of-life manga revolves around two siblings, Shinano and Ikuru, and their daily lives at the end of the Showa era and the beginning of the Heisei era.

The second and third places are respectively occupied by Shogakusei Emamoto Emumi no Katte Kimama Life of Emuji and RAB (Real Akiba Boys) no Nichijo Egaitemita by Maron. I Think I Turned My Childhood Friend Into a Girlthe popular manga by Azusa Banjo, arrives at the gates of the podium by winning fourth place.

Naru Kariya's fantasy romance manga, Ugly Duckling of the Entertainment Districtreceived many votes and ended up in fifth position, followed by the psychological drama Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii by Manio Hanasaki.

The seventh place holder is an expected choice. One of the new features of Weekly Shōnen Jump, Kagurabachi by Takeru Hokazono, took the manga world by storm upon its release. It has consistently appeared on the list of the most viewed manga on the MANGA Plus platform since its debut.

The last three manga that fans want to see in animation are Our fleeting summer from Yuama, Kindergarten WARS by Yu Chiba, and finally Psyren by Toshiaki Iwashiro, in that order.

Many of the winners on AnimeJapan's rankings had gotten their own anime adaptations in the past. Therefore, fans can hope to see the names in this list brought to their screens in the future.
