Far Cry 5 is updated to run at 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Far Cry 5, Ubisoft has announced a new update for the title that will be available to all players on current generation consoles. The patch with which the fight against Joseph Creed works at a native 60 FPS, a feature highly demanded by users, according to the study, is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
This improvement will apply to all modes: Solo Campaign, Co-op, Arcade, and all DLC. Additionally, the patch provides improved resolution on Xbox Series. On PlayStation the dynamic resolution already present is maintained.
The studio has also announced a free trial weekend for Far Cry 5. It will be from March 23 to 27 on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
