Far Cry 7: leak alleged details of this game and its multiplayer ‘spin-off’
It’s no surprise to find out that Ubisoft is working on a new installment in its popular open-world shooter series, but if what we report below turns out to be true, the project would be split in two. A recent leak suggests that Ubisoft isn’t just working on far cry 7but in a multiplayer ‘spin-off’ with an already defined scenario.
According to a report published by Insider-Gaming, both projects were initially part of the same game, but when director Dan Hay left Ubisoft Montreal to take over the Blizzard’s new survival gamethe plans changed radically.
Filtration ensures that far cry 7, known for now as Project Blackbird, would be a single player experience in the style of previous games in the series. For its part, the ‘multiplayer spin-off’ title of Far Cry —Project Maverick— would be a multiplayer extraction game in the style of Escape from Tarkov or DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
What would the scenario be? far cry 7?
The leak suggests that the multiplayer ‘spin-off’ of Far Cry’sand would develop in Alaska.
Although the details about far cry 7 they are even more scarce, it is quite possible that it will take place in Alaska the same as the ‘spin-off’, but those are only assumptions. We also don’t know anything about a possible release date.
The images in this article are actual photos from Alaska and are not meant to represent what the game would look like.
