We have been around for almost a year and a half of Endwalker, the fourth expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. Being now in patch season, today’s live has announced all the news that will come to version 6.4, which also already has a launch window. The end of this expansion is near, this next update is very loaded.
This is the 76th Producer’s Live Letter, the way Yoshi-P, producer and director of the game, has of communicating the latest news that will come to the title. Patch 6.4 is one of the biggest that Endwalker will receive, following the current plot and finally leading us to the showdown against Golbez. With new side missions and a new trial (which, as usual, will also have its Extreme version), this could be the prelude to the next big . plot.
Of course, there is also room for optional content in this update. Tataru’s Grand Endeavor, the most beloved lalafell quests, will continue in this patch. If you are waiting for a new installment of Hildibrand’s ridiculous adventures, yes, you will have to wait for 6.45, where they will continue to also let you get the third phase of the Manderville Weapons.
As for more content, we will have a new dungeon: The Aetherfont, full of polar bears that Yoshi-P seems to love. The Unreal Trials are also updated making us fight against Zurvan and getting closer to the end of the Heavensward era for this part of the high end content. The most special fights for hardcore players will also arrive with this patch: we have information on the new raids of the title.
Pandæmonium: Anabaseios will be the third and last tier of raids from the expansion and will also arrive with patch 6.4. The Savage version of these will arrive a week after its release and will put an end to the previous tier thanks to the arrival of a team with the best ilvl of the current one.
In addition to the raid team, we will also see new tomestones called “Allagan tomestones of comedy”, which will allow us to have better pieces to assemble our characters. As usual, BiS gear will change with this patch, leaving us with the more powerful weapons and armor of expansion within our reach.
As for the Variant and Criterion Dungeons, Square Enix’s commitment to make dungeon content more similar to WoW will come a second version of these for 6.45. Called Mount Rokkon, you will have 3 levels of difficulty and you will not need to have finished the previous dungeon to access it.
The Blue Mages they will finally have their advance level up to 80which will arrive with more specialized equipment, its own spells to obtain and, obviously, the possibility of facing the great challenge of doing the Shadowbringers raids in Savage with a part entirely made up of this peculiar work.
