Firaxis has a new head of the studio and announces development of Civilization VII

2K Games has announced important changes in his study Firaxis Games. As of today, the chief of operations Heather Hazen has been appointed head of the study after the departure of the hitherto head of the study, Steve Martin. Hazen has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, and from now on he will lead the development teams at Firaxis Games, which, in addition to continuing to support Marvel’s Midnight Suns (whose new expansion is just around the corner), has announced which is already underway next main installment in the Civilization series.

On the other hand, jake solomonformer creative director of the XCOM franchise and Marvel’s Midnight Suns, will also be leaving the studio after twenty years with it.
