Fortnite: New supply llama community event gives you 10 items

There’s a new collaboration event between Epic Games and PlayStation in Fortnite: the Supply Llama Community Goal Challenge, where you can bag up to 10 free items, including the Mecha Leader Glider, Shimmer Varnish wrap, a loading screen, and tons of PS Network avatars. The whole thing is primarily intended for PlayStation players, but you can also take part on PC, Xbox, Switch and Co and get the rewards in Fortnite. SEsports Extrasup and participate in the Fortnite Supply Llama Challenge

The Fortnite Supply Llama Community Goal Challenge starts this Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and will run for almost five days. This brings the Fortnite Supply Llama Community Objective Challenge to the end of Monday, May 23, 2022 at 5:59 am.

Who can/may participate in the Supply Llama Challenge?

As with the Stoneheart Trials, the standard Epic Games rules apply to the Supply Llama Challenge. Means: In principle, all players from all over the world may and can participate, provided they have a valid Epic account and are at least 18 years old (or at least 13 years old, with parental permission). As mentioned, the event is specifically for the Fortnite and PlayStation community, but it’s (so far) possible to participate on other platforms as well (more on that in a moment).

How to sEsports Extrasup for the Supply Llama Challenge in Fortnite

Important: If you want to take part in the Supply Llama Community Goal Challenge, you need a PlayStation account. This also applies if you play on a different platform (PC, Xbox, Switch) and want to take part in the event. If you don’t have a PS account yet, no problem, you can simply create one as part of registering for the Supply Llama event. Here are the necessary steps to participate:

  • Visit Epic Games’ Fortnite Supply Llama Event official website and click either the teal “SEsports ExtrasIn” button above the image slideshow or the yellow button in the top-right corner of the screen. Both will take you to the PlayStation Network login screen.
  • Now enter your login ID (the e-mail address that you have stored with PS-Network) and your password and click on continue. If you don’t have an account with PlayStation yet, you can create one using the “Create new account” button and then log in with it.
  • After logging into PlayStation Network, you will automatically be sent back to the Fortnite Supply Llama Event page and will need to log in with your Epic account. Once that’s done, the two accounts for the campaEsports Extrasare linked and you can start Fortnite and work on solving the tasks.

All Fortnite Supply Llama Community Goal tasks and rewards at a glance

As the name “Community Goal Challenge” suggests, this event counts both your personal performance and that of the entire player community. Means: Each task always has a community goal that all players have to achieve together. In addition, you will be shown a personal contribution to the community goal that you should contribute

There are a total of three community goals, all of which focus on a certain number of surviving storm zones. A community goal must be achieved in order for the corresponding award to be awarded. If all community goals are met, eligible participants will receive all of the prizes listed below. Of course, if no community goals are reached, there will be no prizes, so hurry up 😉

Supply Llama Community Objective Challenge progress counts for all Solo, Duo, Trio, and Team modes in both regular Battle Royale and Null Build game modes. Other game modes such as group wedges or LTMs are not counted! Rewards will be credited directly to your Epic account within 7 days of reaching the appropriate reward tier, PlayStation Rewards may take up to 30 days after the event ends.

  • Personal Goal: Survive 25 storm phases
  • Reward in Fortnite: “A Llotta Llamas” Loading Screen
  • PlayStation Reward: Supply Llama Dynamic Theme for PS4 (does not work on PS5)

Level 2

  • Community goal: survived 30,000,000 storm phases
  • Personal Goal: Survive 25 storm phases
  • Fortnite Reward: Shimmer Varnish
  • PlayStation Reward: PSN Character Avatar Set 1

level 3

  • Community goal: survived 42,000,000 storm phases
  • Personal Goal: Survive 25 storm phases
  • Reward in Fortnite: Mecha Leader Glider Parachute
  • PlayStation Reward: PSN Character Avatar Set 2
