I may be a little late, but the crossover of Fortnite x Among Us, two of the most popular, viral and comical games of recent years is official and is among us. The promotion, more specifically, consists of bringing Epic Games’ battle royale a themed dance plus an appearance for the backpack based on the colorful Innersloth astronauts — nothing has been mentioned about the possibility of reversing those contents, in such a way that Jonesy (to say the least) sneaks into the game of social deduction.
According to the official blog of Among Us, the players who buy the video game on the Epic Games Store digital store (or any star pack as a microtransaction) before June 9, 2023 will receive the “distraction dance” and skin “crewmate back bling” from Among Us to equip in Fortnite. Unfortunately, purchases through Steam are not eligible to benefit from the promotion.
From Epic Games they clarify in a question and answer table that both objects will be available in the store in-game of Fortnite later on, which means that even if you don’t get your hands on the suspicious backpack you’ll still have a chance to to unlock these outfits.

The news signs an entire arc of reconciliation for both companies, as we remember that at the end of 2021 Fortnite premiered a mode called Impostors that was clearly inspired by the Among Us formula. At that time, from Innersloth they expressed internal dissatisfaction with the idea that the battle royale had chosen to copy or plagiarize its gameplay instead of having opted to collaborate.
