Forza Motorsport shows its advanced accessibility options
Turn 10 Studios has shown a new video of the new Forza Motorsportscheduled for this year, although this time it is not a gameplay or development diary, but rather focuses on new accessibility features that allow blind driving and one-touch driving. However, during the video we can see some scenes of the simulator.
Blind driving assistance allows players who are blind or have low vision to use informative audios during the game that will help them navigate the tracks, improve their lap times and complete races. Players will be able to activate each set of prompts individually, as well as adjust their pitch and volume to best suit their needs.
One-touch drive simplifies control. Players have the option of choosing their own combination of braking, steering and accelerating aids to reduce the number of simultaneous actions required. These driving assists will allow users to customize their experience and play with as few or as many assists as they like.
The screen narrator, which can be activated to receive information from the user interface, help navigate menus. Additionally, there will be options for players to customize the narration system, offering new flexibility in choosing what information is conveyed.
Forza Motorsport also include functions like dynamic audio description, color blindness modes for user interface, controller button remapping, text scaling, and more.
The release date will be known on June 11
Forza Motorsport coming this year to Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X | S, Windows PC, Steam and Cloud Gaming.
