Free Fire will remove Diamond Royale and the Incubator, make changes to Gold Royale
One of the most criticized aspects of this free ‘battle royale’ title is its monetization scheme. In freefire players buy Diamonds that they can use to buy multiple cosmetics or participate in different roulettes and ‘gachas’ in which they can obtain prizes, but it seems that Garena will say goodbye to two of these systems: Diamond Royale and the Incubator and that it will change Gold Royale .
According to sites like Sportskeeda and InsideSport, in various regional versions of the game—including the Latest News version of Free Fire Max— A notification appeared stating the following:
“Please note that as of June 1, 2023, Diamond Royale and the Incubator will not be available. Tickets for both events can no longer be used after this date.”
This notification has not yet appeared in the Latin American version of the game. But it’s not unusual for this kind of news to appear first in other regional versions. Some believe this could be an attempt by Garena to avoid the wrath of the Latest News government. Let’s remember that this title was already banned in this country in February 2022, leaving only the MAX version active. However, it is unlikely that they will remove monetization systems that leave them active in other regional versions.
In Diamond Royale you can buy “roulette spins” with diamonds that cost real money to draw a random prize from a pool of items that change every so often. The Incubator is similar, but uses a different type of tokens that used to confuse players.
Royale Gold Changes
Replacing Diamond Royale and the Incubator, Garena will make changes to the ‘gacha’ Oro Royalein which you can also get ‘skins’ and other prizes but using the currency that is obtained simply by playing freefire. Because of this, the daily free spins will disappear and each spin will increase in price, from 300 to 800 gold.
