Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm *text muted* May Cry and is revealed in the 5 minute gameplay trailer
- genre: Action music game
- release: January 25 (also in Xbox Game Pass)
- platforms: Xbox Series X/S, PC
As part of the live show, the studio Tango Gameworks (Evil Within, Ghostwire Tokyo) surprisingly showed the game Hi-Fi Rush. In this you take on the role of Chai, who has a roboarm and accidentally gets an MP3 player as his heart. Therefore, he is classified as a defect by a nasty company and hunted by them.
rhythmic fight: But with the help of these two tools, he can use very special attack skills. So Hi-Fi Rush is an action game in the style of Bayonetta and *text muted* May Cry. With your attacks you slowly increase your combo rank, which ensures that the music in the background becomes more and more energetic. You can strengthen these attacks again by executing them in rhythm.
Known bands: You will also be able to hear special music as part of the bosses. As such, these battles are adapted to the music of artists such as Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, The Black Keys and more. This should set the bosses apart even more from the normal fights and are the perfect conclusion to the sections in the game.
Shadow Drop: You don’t have to wait long to play Hi-Fi Rush. Because the action game has now been released for Xbox Series X/S and PC. If you still don’t know if it could really be for you, then you should check out Game Pass. Because the game is now also available there.
