Although they are no longer as relevant as in previous years, The Simpson They continue adding seasons as the years go by, some with episodes that leave a lot to be desired, but others that make us remember the era in which the yellow family did not stop releasing hit after hit on TV. And just recently, they gathered the biggest fans and experts of the franchise to decide which are the best episodes of the series and without question they gave their verdict to the media.

They are about the journalist John Ortved, creator of The Simpsons: An Uncensored, Unauthorized History, Chris Turnerauthor of Planet Simpson: How a Cartoon Masterpiece Defined a Generation and Ray Richmond, TV critic and who shaped The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family. With a selection that could leave all the fans in the world in agreement, well we have Homer’s enemy, The Mysterious Journey of our Homer, Homer in Deep Spaceamong others.

However, the number one on the list is the most iconic by far, and it could not be other than Marge against the Monorail, Chapter that adds the biggest internet memes, and that these same ones have expanded more due to the issue of dubbing in Mexico, since jokes like “I put Cuca on the big one” were born. Likewise, a universal nod is the section in which they are about to collide and Homer asks Marge if the person who is going to help them is Batman.

Here is the description of the episode:

Author’s note: There is no way to deny that it is one of the favorite chapters of the series, as it has many unbeatable moments. The Simpsons is not a perfect series, but if it ever came close to reaching that adjective, it was season 4.
