It is now just under two weeks until gamescom in Cologne opens its doors live again for the first time in three years. As in previous years, the start of the fair will be the Opening Night Live (ONL for short), where some games and trailers will be presented. Host Geoff Keighley is leading the show and has since revealed a few more details about the event on Twitter.

As a result, the ONL will last almost 2 hours and will present more than 30 games on stage during this time.
- Date and time for Opening Night Live: August 23 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. German time

Which games will be presented at ONL?
There is no concrete information on this yet, so we will have to be surprised, as in the past few years. However, it is already clear that many major publishers will not be exhibiting at gamescom this year, so don’t necessarily expect revelations or trailers for games from Nintendo, Sony or Activision Blizzard.
Of the console manufacturers, only Microsoft will be in Cologne, all other confirmed exhibitors can be found in our list:

Tickets for Opening Night Live are still available
The ONL will of course be streamed all over the world, but there is also the chance to be there live at the show in the audience. A contingent of tickets is available for this, which, according to the Kölnmesse, is very limited.
So if you want to attend the opening event on site, you should be quick. The price for an ONL ticket is 29 euros, you can order it via the official gamescom ticket page.
Will you be there live at the ONL? And what are your hopes for the show?
