Genshin Impact: Baizhu Materials for Ascension and Talents and How to Farm Them
With version 3.6, Baizhu comes as a new 5-star character in Genshin Impact. We have created an overview for you of the materials you need to improve your character (Ascension Materials) and level up your talents.
When is the Baizhu release date? Version 3.6 launches in Genshin Impact on April 12, 2023. However, there will be rerun banners for Nahida and Nilou first. Baizhu’s event banner will then start in the 2nd phase and will appear on May 2nd, 2023.
The amount of different materials is still a guess.
But you can already farm all of the materials for Baizhu’s Ascension and Talent Enhancement.
The information is currently leaks. So things may change before the release of Baizhu and it’s just guesswork, not confirmed facts. We will update the article for you as soon as there is official information.

How to farm Baizhu’s Ascension Materials?
- Nagadus Emerald: This material is obtained from boss battles against Dendro-type enemies. Defeat the Dendro Hypostasis or the Feathered Mushroom Beast.
- Fungal Beast Spores, Luminous Spore Powder, Crystalline Cyst Dust: These materials are obtained by defeating fungal beasts.
- glass bells: The plant grows on cliffs in Liyue.
- Ring of Eternal Darkness: You can get this material from boss fights against the enemy “Depraved Baptist” from level 30.
