Get ready to change the way you grip the controller in Armored Core VI
Just a few months after the release of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, fans are excited about the possible return of the “Armored Core Grip”.
In the past, developers and players held the controller the other way around to play Armored Core, with your thumbs resting on the triggers instead of the sticks and face buttons. It’s weird when you see the grappling in the tweet below, but it was certainly something that made the franchise stand out when it came to its control systems.
It seems unlikely that this grip will be required for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, as From Software has envisioned the title as a gateway to the series for a bunch of new players. However, if you want to change the way you grip the controller, we may see an option for that.
