GTA 5 has no mercy even with the game that drinks the most from it in the top European sales for August
The new Saints Row can’t beat Rockstar’s mammoth installment despite being released that month.
After a July top dominated by Formula 1, we already have among us the new sales ranking for the month of August in Europe. This period of August was presented with outstanding releases such as the new Saints Row, released on the 23rd, but not even without great competition has it been able to occupy the highest position.
Saints Row is satisfied with the second position of the listThis new conception of the Volition saga has to settle for second place on the list shared by Games Industry. And it is that, curiously, It is a game with which the one that has surpassed it is compared a lot in the classification: Grand Theft Auto V. Despite the fact that Rockstar’s mammoth title was originally released in 2013, it serves to keep the Saints Row saga in the shade.
The European podium for the month of August is completed by another usual suspect: FIFA 22 climbs to the third step followed by the previous leader of July, F1 22. If we continue descending we will find several Sony and Nintendo games that are usually protagonists of this type of rankings.
Then we leave you the list with the 20 best-selling titles of the month of August in Europe, taking into account both the physical format and the digital versions, although it must be clarified that in the case of Switch, digital transaction data is not shared.
