While we’ve yet to see anything official about GTA 6, the upcoming Rockstar Games title, a leak appeared online in September of last year that contained plenty of gameplay footage, no doubt in a very early state of development.
A source recently suggested that the game could release in late 2024 or early 2025, and when you consider that this September will have been a full decade since GTA V came out, that’s quite the wait.
However, prominent industry insider Tom Henderson has suggested that it could be even later, and that it will skip the release of a previous-gen console entirely. He wrote and that he expects GTA 6 to be pushed back to holiday 2025, many months later than recently suggested. He thinks we might get a reveal trailer in the fourth quarter of this year.
One of Henderson’s sources says that the reason the game has been delayed so long is due to the fact that it will only be released on next-gen consoles. This wait was reportedly to ensure that the game would be released to a large enough console market and sell well despite being offered on fewer platforms. Leave us your comment.
