Hardcore mode returns to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
In a Twitter post, Infinity Ward has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will see the return of Hardcore mode as part of the Season 2 update coming in February.
It was recently announced that Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 had been delayed because Activision and Infinity Ward were trying to fix problems in both games.
Future updates will contain fixes and new content, as evidenced by the return of Hardcore mode. For those of you unfamiliar, this mode prevents players from seeing their HUD and offers a more “realistic” and quicker death time.
There are also many more changes, such as the return of Resurgence and a new, smaller map for Warzone 2.0. Everything Coming In Season 2 Will Be Outlined later this week in a new blog from Infinity Ward, so stay tuned.
