Since the last edition of The Game Awards we haven’t seen any gameplay demonstration of Hellblade II, but from time to time we get to know some curious detail of both the development and Senua’s new adventure. It seems that Ninja Theory aims to create as realistic an experience as possiblewhich includes somewhat eschatological details.

As we saw in its latest gameplay, Hellblade II points to a photorealistic aesthetic that mixes the real with supernatural elements of pagan mythology, but his focus also encompasses the rest of the elements and creatures that will populate Senua’s world. For this, among other things, Ninja Theory has created a realistic bird poop simulator.

Senua in Hellblade II looks very different from the original

In the absence of a new trailer for the game itself, Ninja Theory shared a clip through its Twitter account showing its bird poop simulator in operation. Not only does it recreate and animate dozens of birds in real time, but when they take flight and lighten the load (poop), realistically stain the stones of the groundeither.

Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga Launch

For now there is no specific release date for this Hellblade II, after being shown at The Game Awards gala, it was said that it would be a long time before he saw it again. Will it be in this year’s edition? What we do know is that it is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and coming soon to Xbox Series X|S and PC. Ninja Theory aspires to make the first Hellblade “look like an indie game” by his side.
