deepcool announced the launch of a new high-end CPU cooling system, the AN600. Unlike the recently launched Assassin IV, this heatsink stands out for offering a compact design. In essence, it is designed for chassis in Mini-ATX and even Mini-ITX format. This is possible thanks to dimensions of 121 x 120 x 52mm height. In addition to its design, your low height is also tied to using a 15mm thick fan. This is 10 mm less than the traditional size.
The DeepCool AN600 is compatible with both sockets Intel LGA1700LGA1200, and LGA115X, as with the AMDAM5 and AM4. At the dissipation power level, it is capable of supporting CPUs that generate up to 180W power consumption. Finally, its size also allows compatibility with any RAM memory module up to 40 mm in height.
DeepCool AN600 Heatsink Specifications
We find ourselves with a radiator made up of nothing less than 62 aluminum fins. These fins are traversed by six 6 mm thick copper heat pipes. These end in a copper base that is the one that has direct contact with the CPU. The heat accumulated by the fins is dissipated thanks to the use of a 120mm PWM fan slim desEsports Extraswith FDB bearings. This fan rotates between 500 and 1,850 RPM generating an air flow up to 36.75 CFM with a static pressure of 2.61mmH2O and a sound of 24.2dBA at maximum turning speed. This fan hides a white LED backlight system.
This is accompanied by an LPS adapter that limits its speed of rotation between 500 and 1,250 RPM. This involves generating an airflow of up to 42.14 CFM with a static pressure of 1.2mmH2O and loudness of up to 20.4dBA. This fan has a 6-phase motor visible from the outside.
“The AN600, taking full advantage of its slim 120mm PWM-enabled fan, delivers top-down airflow, pushing massive amounts of air through the finned array and into the RAM and VRMs below. “The 6-phase fan motor ensures all of this is achieved while staying below 24.2 dB(A). A low noise adapter cable is included.”
Other information, availability and price
The information of the Deep Cool AN600 It is completed with an easy assembly system, the fan has rubber pads to avoid discomfort linked to vibration, and is accompanied by from a syringe with thermal compound.
“The all-metal backplate is easy to install and evenly distributes pressure from the back of the motherboard while providing reinforcement behind the CPU socket.”
At the price level, the company indicates that it will be available from next July at a recommended price of €49.99.
