Hogwarts Legacy Poll: You have a definite favorite NPC
You have a definite favorite NPC in Hogwarts Legacy and it is indeed Sebastian.
Without its numerous characters, Hogwarts Legacy would probably not have the charm that it still exudes for many at the moment. In the course of the magic adventure you will meet a number of NPCs, many of whom are friendly to you, but some are also hostile.
It is obvious that sooner or later you develop special sympathies for one or the other character. And that’s exactly why we wanted to know from you in our survey which NPC in Hogwarts Legacy you find the best.
The survey has been running for two weeks now, so it’s high time to present a result. And that is pretty obvious.
JK Rowling’s transphobia: The success of Hogwarts Legacy indirectly benefits Harry Potter author JK Rowling, who participates through existing publishing rights and the associated sale of the books. Rowling continues to be active in anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric and actively supports anti-trans policies in the UK. If you want to find out more about the topic, you will find a summary of the most important controversies surrounding Hogwarts Legacy here.

The Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow has thus impressively confirmed his role as a favorite, which we had already taken up with a wink in the title of the survey. Because Sallow had blossomed into a real favorite in social networks in the last few weeks, and this has now been underlined/confirmed in our survey.
Poppy Sweeting and Natsai Onai follow in second and third place, but with a huge gap to Sebastian, who claims a real landslide victory.
In addition, we asked you to explain your decision in more detail in the comments. And so have many of you, and unsurprisingly, Sebastian is mentioned a lot here. A few excerpts:
“Sebastian is arguably likeable to most because he teaches the unforgivable and his depth of character and motivation seems palpable. […]”
Magnus Marx
“Sebastian’s story felt like it took up more space and paid the most attention to a certain character development. […]”
Fabinio
“Sebastian is pretty much the only npc left that has any bit of character and depth. Everyone else is so slick and overly friendly or stereotypically evil that it’s hard to take. […]”
Naza_rah
“I loved Poppy. Her backstory was quite interesting and I found her style very enjoyable. Sebastian was ok but a little too crazy later on. […]”
