Hollow Knight: Silksong: Team Cherry reveals that we will not have to wait much longer to finally see the metroidvania

If we have to refer to expected video games, there is a candidate that quickly appears in everyone’s mind. Hollow Knight: Silksong has almost become a fleeting memory for many, but the truth is that it really exists and Team Cherry is still working on it.

The developer has always been very cautious when it comes to offering advances on their work, but now we have a new track offered by themselves. Coinciding with the delivery of the Unity Awards 2021, Hollow Knight: Silk Song was crowned the most anticipated game and the studio has shared the following thanks after receiving the award:

“We are honored that Hollow Knight: Silksong has won the 2021 Unity Award for Most Anticipated Game and a huge thank you to all the fans who support us as we work on the game. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to the day when we can share the game with all of you. It can’t be much longer, for sure!”

Obviously, they are not offering any date or window in which we can guess when we will see the title. However, if we take the 2021 Unity Awards gala as a reference, we see that the statements were made on April 27, exactly two weeks ago.

One more opportunity to see the metroidvania appears before us today, since Nintendo will present an Indie World today in which it could appear Hollow Knight: Silk Song. Let us remember that Team Cherry has closed a temporary exclusivity with Nintendo Switch for consoles.
