Hyper Light Breaker, from the creators of Hyper Light Drifter, presents his world on video
The Heart Machine development study has shown a new video of Hyper Light Breakerthe successor to one of the most acclaimed action-role adventures on the independent scene, Hyper Light Drifter. The video is dedicated to showing the world and its different locations of this announced game for PC, with no confirmed date.
“Enter the Overgrowth, a forgotten land in the world of hyper light. Play alone or in a team and explore new worldsfight monsters, unlock equipment, face the mysterious Crowns and overthrow the sinister Abyss King in this adventure,” says the independent developer.
Players will explore with extensive freedom of movement (including wall scrolling and glider use) a “massive” world that mixes natural and post-apocalyptic environments, open arenas, and deep mazes. In those locations we will have to face hordes of enemies and Esports Extrasntic bosses in “frantic third-person combat”.

With its rogue-lite structure that will allow you to discover a wide arsenal of weapons and objects to perfect the build, players will gradually learn more about this world, Overgrowth, and the stories it hides. there will be a hub to improve and become more colorful with each of the goals achieved, while at the same time populate with characters who will have their own stories.
The team has clarified that “sharing threads [argumentales]aesthetics, context and other recognizable elements, but it will be a new game with new designs” regarding Hyper Light Drifterhence they avoid calling it a prequel or a sequel.
