I prefer to measure Diablo 4 beta players the way Blizzard does: by adopted puppies.

Diablo IV has already begun to make its mark among the gaming community. This open beta in 2 phases, although one of them has already ended and involved having early access, has attracted a good number of players. Do you want to make an estimate? We can count it in puppies saved: no less than a million furry rescued.

Although it is a somewhat ambiguous way of measuring players, it is the reality. Adam FletcherCommunity Development Leader for Blizzard, has advanced on his personal Twitter account that over a million players have reached level 20 in the beta from last weekend; something that translates into a puppy saved by each player.

And it is that, as PcGamesN adds, upon reaching the level 20 in the beta players got a reward: Beta Wolf Pack, a cosmetic that adds an adorable sleeping puppy in a blanket tied to the character’s back. While he is there dreaming of the little angels, we are decimating demons, and all for him.

Well, we may be overdramatic, but the reality is that it is tremendously cute. So much so that the official Diablo account on Twitch made a streaming 1 hour alone with a puppy sleeping. Plain and simple that. Of course, the direct one rose with more than 16,000 views, all because we died of love watching the animal sleep.

But don’t despair, because if you haven’t played yet, this weekend is your chance. The Blizzard team will open access to the beta again this Friday, although this time without any prerequisites. This means that from the day March 24th at 6:00 p.m., you can play completely free.
