If you own a PS4 or PS5, you can use an offer that allows you to watch movies and series on Apple TV+ for free. However, the promotion will end soon.
Who can use the offer? Anyone who owns a PS4 or PS5 can take advantage of the offer and watch Apple TV+ for free. However, there is a difference between the two consoles.
While PS5 players get a free trial period of half a year, PS4 users have to be content with a half as long period of 3 months.
How can I use Apple TV+ for free? Depending on the console you have at home, proceed as follows:
If you have a PS5:
- Go to the PS5 search bar and look for the “Apple TV” app, alternatively you can look under “All Apps” in the media home screen
- Download and open the Apple TV app
- Create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one, or enter your existing one
If you have a PS 4:
- Go to the “TV & Video” section and look for the Apple TV app
- Download and open the Apple TV app
- Create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one, or enter your existing one
But remember to cancel the trial subscription in good time if you don’t want to continue to subscribe to Apple TV+ and pay the regular price of €6.99 per month.
However, the offer is only valid for new Apple TV subscribers. That means if you already have or have had Apple TV+, you can’t claim it.
How long is the offer valid? The campaEsports Extraswill run until July 31, 2023 and you can take advantage of the free trial subscription (via playstation.com).
