Nostalgia is something powerful that has led many creators to want to emulate what we liked so much, and today I am here to talk to you about an indie title that is directly inspired by Resident Evil 2 and 3, and that you can try right now. And it is that, despite having remakes, many fans of the survival horror genre miss the puzzles, fixed camera angles and tank controls. Echoes of the Living brings them all back.

With remakes of great survival horror classics, like Silent Hill 2, about to arrive, it’s a good time to be a fan of the genre. On the other hand, indie developers are eager to revive fashions of the past, and this horror video game has all the ballots to become the obsession of more than one nostalgic.

Inspired by the great classics of the 90s, Echoes of the Living takes you to a northern European city that is filled with zombies in the presence of a mysterious fog. Once you see a bit of his gameplay, the comparison with the Resident Evil of the time is more than evident.

Of course, this does not mean that they are going to trace both the good and the bad of those horror games. if you do not like them tank controls, its creators warn that they have made modifications to make them more intuitive, in addition to the fact that you can customize them.
