Incuvo, People Can Fly studio, works on a new virtual reality game
Incuvo from the Polish studio People Can Fly (bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment and Outriders) is developing a new project for virtual reality. This is the team in charge of Bulletstorm VRadaptation of shooter to the virtual reality of PS5, PC and Quest.
In the job offers of the team, a designer of gameplay for one “undisclosed license for virtual reality” with mentions of combat, skills and confrontations in “intricate environments”, with photorealistic settings, “textures, models and materials for next-generation consoles”.
It would make use of Unity technology, a change from the more common engine of People Can Fly, specialized in Unreal Engine. One explanation is that the license also will have mobile launch -where Unity is quite popular-, since development experience is requested for those devices. Incuvo was founded in 2012 and they have worked on Layers of Fear VR, Blair Witch VR and Green Hell VR.

Aside from Incuvo’s work, People Can Fly has several games going. It is known that there was a new AAA adventure underway, although it lost Take-Two as editor. They are also preparing a game for Microsoft, Project Maverickand a new game published by Square Enix after their collaboration with Outriders. There are rumors of a sci-fi action RPG for the PlayStation, codenamed GRID.
