Insomniac Games asks for “a little more patience” to show material from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

This year is packed with great releases, from recent hits like Hogwarts Legacy and Resident Evil 4 Remake Until upcoming blockbusters like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Of course, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is on the list as it prepares for an as-yet-unspecified fall 2023 release date.

However, after its revelation two years ago, Insomniac Games It has not provided any new screenshots or gameplay details. Responding to a Twitter user about why it hasn’t shown anything, the developer said: “Because we’re in the kitchen. It smells good in there, but we just ask for a little more patience.”

With Sony rumored to be hosting a PlayStation Showcase in June ahead of Summer Game Fest, the PS5 exclusive could be shown there. It could reveal the first images of the game and maybe even the release date. As such, a marketing campaEsports Extrasmonths after the game’s release is nothing new – check out other PlayStation titles like God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West.

Just so we know things are going well, actor Yuri Lowenthal, who plays Peter Parker, confirmed that his motion capture work was “all done”, which could mean development is in the final stretch.
