John Cena will be the star on the cover of WWE 2K23

As it had already been rumored, WWE 2K23 has already been officially presented with its two formats and its release date has been announced, as well as the star that will appear on the cover this year. It will go on sale March 17 for PC, PlayStation and Xboxand the fighter who will have the honor of appearing on the cover is none other than John Cena.

Today he is mostly known as an actor in the Fast and Furious 9 and Suicide Squad movies, as well as the spin-off series The Peacemaker, but he began his career as a wrestler in WWE, and had a great success as well. This year he celebrates his 20th anniversary with the organization, and has commented on the following:

“It is a pleasure to tell the story of my career through the WWE 2K23 Showcase. 2K has done a fantastic job capturing and invigorating the WWE 2K franchise through this concept, and I am honored to grace the cover of WWE 2K23.”
