Know the PC requirements to play Dead Island 2
Dambuster Studio’s Dead Island 2 is out next week, at long last, and its PC requirements have finally been revealed. If you have a GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480, bad news: the best you’ll be able to handle is 1080p/30 FPS.
Of course, you must also have an Intel Core i7-7700HQ or AMD FX-9590 and 10 GB of RAM, or the minimum goal may be a pipe dream. Recommended requirements, at 1080p/60 FPS networking, include an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 6600 XT or GeForce RTX 2070 Super.
1440p/60 FPS requires a Ryzen 7 7700X or Core i5-12600KF, 16GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 6750 XT or GeForce RTX 3070. Finally, for 4K/60 FPS you’ll need a Ryzen 9 7900X or Core i7- 13700K with 16 GB of RAM and a Radeon RX 6950 XT or a GeForce RTX 3090. Also, regardless of your hardware, Windows 10 and 70 GB of free space are required.
Dead Island 2 is out on April 21 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
