Lies of P boasts performance in a trailer with Radeon
Lies of P has just released a new Radeon Gameplay trailer, showing off some of its combat and a boss fight. The next soulslike de Neowiz puts a twist on the story of Pinocchio, in which the fairy tale character continues to try to become a real boy, only this time he is willing to kill to achieve it.
The trailer opens by showing Pinocchio dispatching a pair of guards with his sword and hook. This continues throughout the footage, with the final stretch devoted to a fight with a mechanical ape.
You can also get a good look at the world of Lies of P in the trailer, showcasing the unique visual style of Belle Époque influences that many players mistakenly associated with Bloodborne.
In any case, Lies of P looks more like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but that may only be because we see a fight with a great ape that Pinocchio can hold on to. Of course, it is a contrast of scenarios and gameplay that is different from what we were able to try during our time at Gamescom 2022, in which we dedicated some first impressions to the game.
