Because everyone can probably play Jungle and sit afk (“away from keyboard”) in the bush for a minute without getting a disadvantage, if not an advantage.

The jungle puts too much pressure on all lanes

What is happening in the video? Tyler1 analyzes his behavior and that of both junglers from the game in the stream.

First, he talks about revealing the bush on the opponents’ botlane side so he can’t be taken by surprise. He then explains the normal jungle flow on the blue side in Summoner’s Rift. The player in the video does just that, standing behind the golems in the revealed bush on the botlane. The player remains there for almost a minute.

Tyler1 talks about jungle position being way too strong.

That player was supposed to be at a farm, gold, and experience disadvantage against his opponent that minute, but the other team’s Sylas doesn’t play it cleanly.

He doesn’t take all jungle camps, nor does he consider 3v3 on the botlane. These are both points that Tyler1 criticizes in his video.

Just because Tyler1 knew the enemy jungler was there, he can’t attempt risky tactics to give his lane an advantage. However, the potential risk leaves Tyler1 unable to do anything and puts him at a disadvantage. All because his opponent stood around in the bush for a minute.

Finally, the streamer says that if Riot Games looks at the number of players from the jungle, they would see an increase. But that would be because the players no longer want to play on the lanes.

RiotPhlox has explained on reddit that they have already uploaded further adjustments to the PBE server for patch 13.5, but these only went live later because of the weekend in between.

The developer also expresses his excitement that Tyler1 cares so much about balance in the jungle. The comments under the posts also show that the jungle camps do not play a major role in the game.

How do you feel about the current jungle role and what do you expect from the adjustments? Tell us in the comments.

However, the changes for the jungle are not the only ones for patch 13.5: LoL is finally revising the costs of the champions – you have to reckon with these prices in the future.
