Marvel’s Avengers will stop receiving support from September 30
The publisher Square Enix and the development studio Crystal Dynamics confirm through a statement on Twitter that Marvel’s Avengers stop receiving support and new content from the next September 30th, at which time it will also cease to be on sale in both digital and physical stores -while supplies last- for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and computers. Of course, players who own the title as a service inspired by the adventures of Marvel superheroes in digital format they will be able to continue downloading it on their platformalthough both companies warn that they cannot guarantee a solution if they experience problems.

Although Marvel’s Avengers stop receiving new updates much sooner than expected, both single player and multiplayer will continue to be available to all players. The last major update is scheduled to arrive on March 31, the date on which all microtransactions will be deactivated. Finally, it has been reported that all cosmetics that can be purchased in the in-game store will be given to players completely free of charge from the arrival of the last patch and until the day the game stops receiving support, although Spiderman will continue to be exclusive to the versions for PlayStation consoles. At the moment it will continue to be available on subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass.
