Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reveals its graphics options, accessibility and more
The page of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation has been updated with information about some accessibility options, answers to frequently asked questions, and other details. Insomniac Games’ adventure for PlayStation 5 launches on October 20.
Curiously, a piece of information that appeared momentarily and was later withdrawn deals with the graphics modes to offer: fidelity, with 4K resolution, ray-traced effects and 30 images per second, and performance, at 60 images per second but without some of the advanced graphic effects and with a dynamic resolution.
It is not clear why the text was removed. It is possible that it is incomplete, since for example other Insomniac Games games -the previous ones spider-man either Ratchet & Clank: A Dimension Apart– allow a third option with performance and reflexes ray tracingin addition to taking advantage of VRR support.
The options will also allow adjust motion blur effectfilm grain intensity, and chromatic aberration off.

Obviously it does not reveal the complete list of enemies that we will face, only those confirmed: Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and Venom, “among many others.”
Finally, it is explained that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 takes place after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moralesset one year after the story of Marvel’s Spider-Man. “You can enjoy Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 without prior knowledge of the story or the characters, but We recommend that you explore the previous titles to get the most out of the narrative experience.“.
